Nigel Hall: industry experience since 1998
Nigel Hall is the operator and editor of SlotSitesUK. His career in the gambling and amusement industry began in 1998, working directly with gaming machines before progressing into arcade management. His background spans venue operations, slot analysis, online publishing and the development of ideas for player information tools.
He managed two arcade venues at Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, with more than 600 machines between them. His responsibilities included machine placement, product testing, monitoring performance and day-to-day operations. During that period, he completed an NVQ Level 3 management qualification through his employer.
From gaming machines to online publishing
Nigel launched his first gambling website in 2018, developing it into Demoslot. His writing examines slot mechanics, RTP, volatility and bonus features, with an emphasis on explaining how games work. He sold Demoslot in 2026 and continues contributing to its content and development.
He is also a game writer and co-owner of CasinoTrackpot, where his work includes live casino games, RTP information and ideas for trackers that help readers explore game data. That role combines researching published game information, explaining betting options and features, and developing ways to present statistics clearly.
